Been doing some research at medyo madami nang threads about this. I made this new thread para isa na lang paglalagayan nating lahat. It would be easier to keep updated on Intel systems for iCAfes.

Please note na pang iCAfe lang dito ha? hindi yung pang personal use. Which means, the specs have to be a viable option for an internet cafe owner to purchase.

Specs posted here may be considered as the packages Pilipinas iCAfe COOP will offer in the very near future. so please indicate whether it will be an Entry Level (10k-13k), Mid Level (13k-18k), or High End Package (18k above).

Sir just ordered 5 units of i5-661, DH55TC mobo and 2GB DDR3 Ram at 16,250/set for my i-cafe upgrade, may dating case, HDD and monitor na kasi ako. Pure surfing lang ako dito sa shop.

@Sir bien: Same specs sa AMD based yung naiisip para sa intel based system. except for Processor & Motherboard:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93Ghz 3MB 1066Mhz <- In not sure kung equal to sa power ng AMD counter part ng kabilang thread.

Motherboard: ECS P43T-AD3

iCore5 lang, pwede na. kaya na nyan yung medyo mabibigat even without a separate vga card. saw the demo, and was amazed how well it ran high graphics games just using the cpu's built-in vga.
