ako wala pa ganyan shoot ...mga sexy /lingerie.. pag sa carshow ka pumunta dun marami ka sexy mashoshoot hehe..

as of now im joining camera because some of them are professional photographers who have models and them pag me workshop or photowalk you can learn how to interact... sa photography workshop tinuro din sa amin how to shoot portrait and then kung pano ang mga pose like mataba , payat, matangkad , maliit..

hope ang ULOP magtipon tipon ang mga hobbyist at pro photographer para magkaroon sana ng workshop... and then dagdag kita rin ito aside from internet cafe.. sana yung ULOP PHOTOGAPHY GROUP natin magsucceed..

I purposely don't want to have 'formal' lessons in photography, para di ma-taint yung 'style' ko. In all settings, "teachers teach, students do", there is a big probability na madala yung 'bias' as your own style. Reason why I practice different fields in photography.

Car shows and Mag shows, hindi rin ako kampante. Hindi ko controlled yung lighting, lalabas parang P&S lang rin treatment.

Boudoir photography kasi wala sa face and body value, nasa composition, lighting, pose and facial projection.

i use shutter speed of 1/20 and iso of 1250 using 50mm 1.8 with aperture of 6.3
edited na kasi yung qinuote mo sir...thanks for the comment..
shinarpen ko yung image para mas detailed..
tama hold your breath sometimes para di maiwasang kunting galaw..

I see.
Pag low light, I always make the aperture at its largest and is fix.
In this case, 1.8mm. though largest opening seems to be soft and is not the sharpest but the choice is blur or sharp.

Kung nasa 1.8mm yan, you can now lower the ISO to around 800 siguro less noise and the shutterspeed up by 1/50 similar with your focal length, para less blurry.

If madilim pa rin, ISO una iangat then shutter, but leave the aperture fix.

Im referring dun sa unedited photo. Medyo maliwanag ang place pa pala.

But based on the picture taken, he used these settings para walang bokeh kaya maliit opening niya compared to an f/1.8 opening. Baka mamaya si Virgin Mary lang ang sharp tapos bokeh na si Jesus.

Recommended shutter speed is based on focal length. Huwag kayo mag 1/20 sa 200mm.

Survey lang.

How many photogs here into lingerie or sexy shoots?

+1 here.
have a series of sets on boudoir shots and sexy shoots with my 50mm 1.8.
I'll have 3 model coeds willing to try this (first timers) end of March (after finals), MUA same set of girls.
Maybe you could teach me more tips if you decided to join the shoot.

its good to know ndi lang kayu pang landscape sir, sexy din :-D

When I started out, I got two kinds of advices.

1. Learn how to shoot and interact with your model.
or
2. Get a professional model and learn backwards.

A lot of masters will disagree that you start shooting with professionals because you will not learn how to command. But they overlook that you need to master two things, how to shoot and how to command.

In my case, I started little time dealing with non-experience models, and then I look for professionals, in which I learn how to shoot w/o worrying of how to interact with them :-D

Anyway, I learn backwards.... I learned to shoot before I learn to interact with them. But after which, I learn both overtime.

That would be my #1 tip for you sir.

My forte is more on Events. not landscape nor sexy/lingerie/fashion.
I maybe able to shoot, pero iba talaga output ng mga photogs who specialize in those areas.

You can pm me details of you shoot, let me see if my sched is ok.
I am still in progress in terms of shooting and has lots to learn pa.

Interaction is very important. You act like the director. Do this, do that.

If you're starting, dala kang codigo kung anong pose gusto mo sa model. Show it to the model. From there you can direct the model to do this based on the pose that you want.
