Im hoping the mods will support me on this thread.
This thread is made with the notion that the raids being conducted right now by the OMB, PNP, and NBI are inevitable.
No matter how much dirt we throw on them (
marahas, ningas kugon, pampa-epek lang, corrupt), none of these will help come raid time.
Im requesting the mods to delete any post on this thread mentioning any offensive languages concerning the raiding events and the people concerned.

1. Does the RAID cover Microsoft Products only???
For now, the safe answer would be NO. Remember that one major agency that is conducting this event is the OPTICAL MEDIA BOARD. The optical media board is concerned with fighting piracy of all sorts, not just MS.
A number of ulopians are attempting to have a dialogue with the agencies concerned hoping to clear this up. Hopefully, for the sake of the majority, the raids are targeting just MS and 1 or 2 other programs.

2. Where can i get cheap MS Windows XP?
It is very important that your OS be 100% legit. If you decide not to purchase legit OS, then good luck. Nothing in the world can help you (unless you got connections) when they come knocking at your door.

3. I have X computers. I then buy X OS. Is it ok if i install just one OS and then make the other pcs clones? (In other words, the serial number on the sticker is not the serial number installed).

The public should guard themseles against these unscrupulous individuals. Demand for identification and authorization, mission order, inspection order or search warrant. Also, demand for receipt and inventory for items taken into custody. Never give out money. When they demand for money in exchange for the items seized, report them to us.
6. What documents should the business owners present when an enforcement agency raids them?
First of all, demand for identification of the raiding team before giving any documents. Require them to present a search warrant, authorization or mission order. Now for the business owners, they should be able to present the end-user licensing agreements, certificates of authenticity, invoices and receipts.
Dagdagan ko lang...Get the contact number of the PNP station in your area. When the raiding team comes, contact the PNP immediately and verify the raid.

6. I lost 1 or 2 of my stickers. What am i to do?
Sir noiskee provided the answer on this one. You need to file for an AFFIDAVIT OF LOSS.
Then to prevent the incident from happening, make photocopies of the stickers and stick them to your computers. Hide the originals for safe-keeping.
