Hello to all members of ULOP. This is my first post here. I can't find the right topic to post my concern so I created a new one. If the same has been discussed before please provide me with the link. Thanks.
I'll list down the problems we have encountered so far.
1. Newly bought PCs- we bought our pc at PCExpress. May mga pre installed games since they know those PCs are for an internet shop. Yun iba nde working like iba language (left or dead), ayaw mag mission game (Call of Duty) meron naghahanap ng CD key, etc. We called a technician to fix the problem and he fixed only 3 PC, we do have 15. Meron din kc na dedetect na virus eh wala pa kami internet connection. He said that he'll be back pag may net na para isang gawaan. He also mentioned that he'll clone all 15, is that advisable? I bought OS license po kc. Ikabit na lang daw sticker and its all good. Pag nakita daw yun sticker ok na yun?
2. PLDT dsl - Dito sumasakit yun ulo ko sobra. I applied last July 23, so more than a month na sya. Up to know pending pa din. Wala pa daw Service Order number. Im calling their CS almost everyday, same response... they will forward my problem to the concerns dept. The girl I speaked with when I called 171, advised me to re apply. They do have this new 5 days policy wherein you'll pay the installation then you will have your landline installed in 5 working days then the dsl afterwards. So I went to SM annex business center to re apply. The lady there didn't accept my re application. Pang residential daw yun and mydsl biz daw ang inaapply ko. Hello? Are they knowledgeable of their products and services? Ang gulo gulo nila kausap. I was only asking if there is something I can do or submit or speak with to speed up the process pero wala silang clear na sagot. Lan games pa lang napapalaro namin and nagkaka player lang around 6pm onwards. Halos kulang pa yung kita pang rent. Is this normal? Na sasacrifice po ba talaga ang first few months rent? Gaano kyo katagal before nakabitan ng PLDT DSL?
3. Technical concern - My brother who is my business partner thought he knows what is needed technically when it comes to troubleshooting the PCs. Now aminado sya na there are too much to learn pa. Akala ko nga since brand new mga pc, wala pa gaano problema pero meron din pala. Any school po you can recommend where my brother can take a short course in pc troubleshooting. Yun reliable po sana para madami syang matutunan. We always browse here for solutions and tips pero iba pa din hands on.
I still have a few pero minor na lang yun, those above makes me worry so much. Im a bit sensitive po kc im currently 7 months pregnant. Earlier in my pregnancy I was advised to bed rest for health reasons. I cant help but worry po talaga, maybe words of wisdom from fellow shop owners here will be a great help. Im hoping din before i give birth eh smooth na operation ng shop namin. I decided to put up this shop for my baby since my husband is the only one working and I want to help him with the finances.
